boat in glass

this was given to me by my bff. she bought this from a middleman who sells products from muntinlupa penitentiary. 

i'd like to think that by buying this product. we are helping the prisoners earn for the hard work.





the details of the boat inside this round bottle is better than the one made by the prisoners. i bought this from a chinese hawker.




 
i bought this in a chinese store selling poorly made products. i find the details more intricate but too colorful. the frame is made of soft wood.

 i bought this from a souvenir shop. i preferred the more colorful representation of the vinta but i have not found one yet.

this is a paperweight and inside are sail surfs. we thought at first they are tiny boats,

this is a blown glass dragon boat. was given to hubby when he assisted sony thailand in training their technicians. been in my collection for 25 years.
